One central place to work in Neukölln is Estrel Tower, which has more than 525 hotel rooms and 9,000 offices. It is located close to DOXS NKLN —a construction project that will provide an additional 30,000 square meters for the cultural and creative scene and companies.

This growth also includes the NLND project -on 130,000 square meters, a former cigarette factory is being converted to a new location for deep tech and Industry 4.0. The Neukölln-based KINDL site is home to the Impact Hub Berlinco-working spaces, start-up incubators, accelerators for socioeconomic projects, etc.

Among others, Geyer Werke is home to the 42Berlin Coding SchoolKalle Neukölln (a former department store) will be the new home of WefoxThe Delta Group, and Rough Trade Records —the old post office Alte Post was renovated for new purposes and will house, among others, the Berlin School of Business and Innovation and its 1,200 students as a new tenant. Last but not least, there’s INK —a future-oriented office property that has Green Building status and will be finished in 2025.

Living in Neukölln

Neukölln is a district with various neighborhoods that each have their own charm and character. Here are a few of the best-known neighborhoods and their distinctive features:

Cultural highlights can be found, among other places, in Heimathafen Neukölln, a former ballroom, featuring theatrical performances and poetry slams. The opera house Neuköllner Oper also offers a eclectic mix of musical theater and international influences. You can party the night away in Germany’s largest queer club SchwuZ or in the trendy rooftop club Klunkerkranich. Every year during a weekend in June, the art festival 48 Stunden Neukölln attracts tens of thousands of visitors to 400 free individual events at over 300 locations.
