What exactly is your position at ZEPTER&KRONE?
As the head of project management, I am responsible for the proper coordination of work processes within individual projects, and I am also in charge of customer support - starting with the kick-off-meeting all the way through to a successful project completion. There are numerous important tasks that need to be taken care of, in addition to the calculation steps, the briefing steps and the actual project completion. Such tasks include the compilation of intermediate status reports, the coordination of feedback sessions, and keeping in touch with external service providers, only to name a few. My team and I need to be aware of all project details. We make sure that everybody has the information they need, that deadlines are maintained, and that everybody can work efficiently and successfully. ZEPTER&KRONE is a creative agency for strategic marketing and a full service partner for companies from various industries.
What fascinates you about this job?
Most of all, I like the variety of my work, and the opportunity to get in touch with many people from different backgrounds - in-house, with my team members, but also with regards to external coworkers or partners, and of course our unique customers. I face different challenges and new demands every day. These include - for the most part - planning, drafting, scheduling and financial matters. In addition, digital transformation changes the way we communicate and advertise daily. This is one of the facts that make our profession so exciting and fast paced. You must be ready to learn new things on a continuous basis.
Why did you choose ZEPTER&KRONE, a company based in Berlin?
I'm from a small town and started working for ZEPTER&KRONE while I was still in school. This job, combined with what I learned in college, allowed me to gain very detailed insight into agency work and my future career. When I was offered the full-time position as a project assistant at ZEPTER&KRONE after my university graduation, I made the decision very quickly. Berlin had already become my favorite place by that time. The city is so extremely vibrant and therefore offers countless possibilities to expand your personal and professional horizon. Beyond that - and I have traveled a lot - I do not know any other large city in the world that perfectly combines energy, excitement and anonymity with peace, tranquility and familiarity, which are more typical for smaller communities.
