Where do you work?

I work with the TU Berlin at the Department of Chemistry as a research associate and am currently doing my doctorate in organometallic chemistry.

Why Berlin?

During my school graduation trip I discovered Berlin and became fascinated by it. The choice of universities and study subjects allowed me to find the right course. After obtaining my diploma in chemistry, I started doing my doctorate here. The wide research landscape in Berlin provides many opportunities to do so.

Who or what helped you through the first time in Berlin?

I had some friends who lived in Berlin and helped me finding a flat. That was a great relief.

What do you love about Berlin?

The diversity, the public transportation net, Berlin's mentality. There are many things about Berlin you cannot describe. You just have to experience the city.

If you could give a new Berliner a tip, what would it be?

Every neighborhood in Berlin is worth visiting. Every corner gives new impressions, driving around is like a vacation in a different city... for example, visit the Mauerpark on a Sunday.
