Tasks – introduction

We are looking for a talented recruiter to help us with our recruiting efforts at our office in Berlin. This person will work within a tightly knit global HR team. As a recruiter, you will be responsible for creating job descriptions, posting & promoting job posts, sourcing candidates, visiting job fairs, communicating with staffing services, scheduling & interviewing candidates and assisting with onboarding. During the hiring process you’ll consult regularly with management for approvals or assignments.When not hiring, placing, or welcoming new employees, recruiters oversee current employee satisfaction and productivity, ensuring that the workplace is always running efficiently. Additionally this person will actively course candidates in order to find star performers

  • Preparing or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating
  • Explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees
  • Informing job applicants of job duties, responsibilities, benefits, schedules, working conditions, promotion opportunities, etc.
  • Arranging hiring process, which includes coordinating job posts, reviewing resumes, and performing reference checks
  • Completing salary and market research
  • Implementing the organization’s recruiting strategy
  • Interviewing applicants
  • Administering pre-employment tests
  • Assisting with completing background investigations
  • Processing transfers, promotions, and terminations
  • Analyzing job duties
  • Writing job descriptions
  • Main point of contact for candidates and HR services providers in the region

What you contribute

  • Required
  • Bachelor’s degree from a university or similar work experience required
  • Strong attention to detail and deadlines
  • Must speak and write English at a business level
  • Ability to work and be flexible in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to learn, understand and adapt quickly to new changes
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple priorities while maintaining a positive, professional image of the organization
  • Preferred
  • Bilingual in French or German
  • Ability to participate in or to lead special projects
  • Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost level of professionalism
  • Performs well on cross-functional project teams
