Junior Bioprocess Engineer

Role Description 

You will be responsible to handle the day-to-day lab operation (sampling and maintenance of a food waste digester & digestion samples analysis). Furthermore, you will research and build test series to further develop the microbial composition together with the team and the process scaling-up strategies implementation with industrial partners (might involve some traveling).

Requirements

• Master's degree in bioprocess engineering, biotechnology or equivalent
• First working experience as a bioprocess engineer
• Good knowledge and experience in general biotechnology engineering, conceptual process design and bioprocess research
• Confident handling of bioprocess development at different levels of scale
• Analytical, hands-on, entrepreneurial, problem solving mindset
