Aufgaben – Einleitung

Aignostics is a spin-off from Europe's largest university hospital (Charité) and Berlin's Technical University, with offices in Berlin and Boston. We have received ~€20m in funding from blue chip investors and are a growing team of over 75 interdisciplinary professionals. We work with academic partners as well as leading pharma and biotech companies in Europe and the US.
As a (Junior) Qualty Assurance Engineer (f/m/d) at Aignostics, you work hand in hand with our collaborators in academia and industry, as well as our strong team, to advance the state of the art for digital pathology. You will be part of our journey to provide Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) that will help to improve cancer research and diagnostics. Leveraging input from your colleagues, you will participate in the day-to-day development of software medical products seeking FDA and IVDR approval.

- Create and maintain test plans and test cases
- Investigate client reported problems
- Detect and report issues in Jira
- Execute test cases (manual/automated), document test results and raise defects where you are responsible for end-to-end tracking of all issues found
- Analyze, review and provide feedback on high-level business requirements
- Develop and apply testing processes in all QA gates for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Work with the development team to test the software developed and ensure that they satisfy the functional requirements and meet the design/specification
Was Sie mitbringen
- 2-3 years of experience in complex web-based application and its associated components, ideally healthcare domain related
- Experience with different agile and sequential software development models (Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, V-Model, etc.)
- Experience with release management using application lifecycle management (ALM) software, preferably Codebeamer
- Experience with Cypress and tools like Postman as well as good knowledge of Typescript and Python
- Proficiency in the English language
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Nice to have:
- Setup a smooth release process for verification and validation of a medical software product
- Familiarity with any or all of the following quality standards
- In Vitro Diagnostic Regulation (IVDR)
- Good Clinical Practice (ICH E6)
- Medical Devices (ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304, IEC 62366-1)
- Knowledge of Information Security criteria under ISO 27001
