Aignostics is a MedTech spin-off founded out of Europe's largest university hospital (Charité) and Berlin's Technical University. Our vision is simple: We want to beat cancer by revolutionizing the analysis of tissue samples with machine learning.
As Project Manager at Aignostics, you will work hand in hand with our machine learning engineers, biologists, academic research partners, public funding agencies, as well as our compliance, quality, and project managers to bring cutting-edge R&D projects from inception to successful completion. As a strong allrounder, you combine capability to quickly understand and analyze technical constellations with a talent for clear documentation and communication.
This is a unique opportunity to join a diverse team of 50+ data scientists, software developers and biologists to work on problems that really matter, while being embedded in an exciting mix of scientific research and medical device development.
- Coordinating the smooth day-to-day running of projects, including scheduling meetings, taking meeting minutes if needed, tracking relevant information and documenting progress
- Establishing timelines, identifying and addressing or escalating issues as they arise, ensuring progress across multi-team projects and meeting deadlines
- Providing status updates to management
- Coordinating publicly funded research projects and academic collaborations; provide a communications and planning interface to public research partners
- Supporting coordination of projects on medical and regulatory compliance
- Taking responsibility for relevant sections of our internal knowledge management systems
What you contribute
- Master’s degree in Computer or Natural Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Business or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in a project coordination role within a technical domain
- Ability to understand, formulate and review reports and stakeholder communication
- Reliable, directed and thoughtful with demonstrated strategic problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail, excellent collaboration skills, curiosity-driven personality
- Fluent in English
- Bonus points for
- Experience and certification in agile project management and/or scrum methodology
- Knowledge of any of the following: pathology, oncology, bioinformatics, medical imaging, machine learning, computer vision, data science, software engineering
- Experience in considering Information Security criteria under ISO 27001
- Fluent in German
