ProBioGen is looking for a Project Leader on behalf of MiGenTra:

MiGenTra is a healthcare transforming medicines company, and a subsidiary of ProBioGen, with a focus on high quality medicines at affordable prices. The parent companies ProBioGen and Minapharm Pharmaceuticals announced the incorporation of "MiGenTra" in late May 2021.

Headquarters are in Berlin with access to a site in Cairo, which will house its principal manufacturing plant. The formation of MiGenTra accelerates ProBioGen's 2030 growth roadmap and showcases that further growth is not limited to the ongoing capacity increase but reveals one of several significant steps in the diversification of ProBioGen's business.

The company allows for product development in the field of Biosimilars, Cell- and Gene Therapies and vaccines especially for Egypt, the Middle East and Africa, and will therefore provide access to key healthcare transforming medicines, while strengthening regional and local manufacturing capacity in the region.

MiGenTra combines the scientific and manufacturing expertise from both contributing companies, ProBioGen and Minapharm Pharmaceuticals. It is established for product development and commercialization in the field of Biosimilars, Cell- and Gene Therapies (CGT) and vaccines, capitalizing on the strong development capabilities of ProBioGen and the excellent market position of Minapharm in the region.

Your Key Responsibilities 

• Preparing project plans that include KPI’s, milestones, reporting requirements, process analyses etc.
• Coordinating and facilitating meetings between technical teams communicating all aspects of project information
• Develop risk assessments and risk management/mitigation plans
• Executing risk mitigation and issue resolution activities
• Preparing budgets alongside leadership team
• Tracking progress and milestones of projects and updating KPI’s using appropriate tools and project management processes and principles
• Managing timeline deviations from baseline, and aligning with relevant employees to ensure that progress is on track
• Aligning with technical (including R&D, quality, production etc.) and regulatory teams
• Ensuring transparent information flows to all relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Managing internal and external third party relationships
• Ensuring regular project communication to internal stakeholders using dashboards, reports and metrics
• Implement and improve project management processes and methodologies

Your Profile

• Degree in life sciences
• 5+ years of relevant experience in biopharmaceutical field, preferably in biosimilars, vaccines or cell and gene therapies
• Understanding of both the regulatory and commercialization components including applying for BLA submissions
• PMP certification and or six sigma is an advantage
• Fluency in English and German is mandatory
• Ability to manage diverse and intercultural teams with compassion and social and emotional intelligence
• Conflict resolution: Given the coordinative project leader role, you will thrive by anticipating conflicts and if they occur by mastering them in favor of the overall company strategy
